Ruppert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy at The
University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston
and a Master of Science degree in behavioral counseling at Johns Hopkins
University and a Ph.D. in
occupational therapy at Texas Woman's University. She has been working in
occupational therapy both as a clinician and as an educator for the past 22
years. Her areas of interest specific to occupational therapy include
psychiatry, brain injury rehabilitation, and community mental health. Her
dissertation work focused on modes of resourceful behavior. She teaches
Introduction to Occupational Therapy, Therapeutic Media I and II, Pathophysiology, Mental Health in OT and Management in OT.
Terra is a member of TOTA, AOTA and WFOT.

tephanie
Johnston earned
her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's
University in 1990. More recently, she received a Master of Arts degree in
Occupational Therapy from TWU. She has worked as an OTR for 16 years in various
settings including psychiatry in the criminal justice system; physical
disabilities, inpatient, outpatient, acute care, sub-acute, and rehabilitation;
geriatrics in long term care settings including skilled nursing units, assisted
living centers, and nursing homes. She is the Fieldwork Coordinator for the OTA
program. Stephanie teaches the following OTHA courses: Physical Function, Human
Structure and Function, Documentation, and Geriatrics, as well as Fieldwork
Level I and II. Stephanie is a member of TOTA, AOTA and WFOT.
